Angela Sun

Angela Sun is a journalist documentarian, sportscaster and TV host. Angela Sun is a multi-award award-winning journalist, sportscaster and producer. She has a degree in Sociology and Communications at the University of California. Sun was a pro at surfing and participated in several Pro-Am Surf competitions that led to her being sponsored by large brands like Roxy Reef Billabong Vans etc. Her career was initiated into entertainment due to the attention she was awarded. In the following years, she was a filmmaker of investigative films and journalist, as also a sportscaster. Sun has worked for many news networks, mostly as anchor. In 2003, Sun became a Fox Sports Net reporter. In 2012, she hosted American Ninja Warrior, alongside Matt Iseman. Sun hosted The Yahoo Sports Minute for the 2014 season. Sun is one of the very first Asian American famous person to make an appearance on ESPN Fox Sports Yahoo Sports Tennis Channel. Sun is an established actress who has been featured in a variety of movies. She worked on movies such as Goliath (2016), Hit the Floor(2014-2016) An Ideal Getaway(2009), Shackled (2005), Street Kings (2008) and Glowsticks and Drumsticks (2004). In 2014 Sun launched Platic Paradise: The Great Pacific Garbage Patch the film of a feature length about the plastic pollution in the oceans and the impact it has on the environment which she wrote directed and produced herself.
