Ani Difranco

Angela Maria Ani DiFranco is an American Canadian singer and songwriter. Over 20 albums have been released by her. DiFranco has released over 20 albums. Widely considered a feminist icon Grammy award winner Ani DiFranco is the mother of the DIY movement being one of the first artists to create her own label the year 1990. DiFranco has two daughters: Elizabeth (Ross), and Dante Americo DiFranco. They met at their school, the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Her mother was born in Montreal and her father is of Italian descent. Ani DiFranco composed and sang 32 Flavors.
