Coleman is a native of Blackpool Lancashire. She attended Arnold School Blackpool as head girl. She scored the highest marks for her A level examinations. Coleman is nominated as Best Actress by the TV Choice Awards. Steven Moffat revealed at a Doctor Who Press Conference on March 21st, 2012 that Coleman was to play Matt Smith as the Doctor's companion after Karen Gillan, Arthur Darvill and other actors left the series. Moffat said that he chose Coleman for the role of companion because she could work best with Smith. Additionally, Moffat noted that she talked faster than Smith. Eva Larue..............................Eva LaRue is an American actor and model. She has been active in the industry since 1987, and has appeared in many TV and film projects. However she has had a greater presence on television than in films. Eva's appearances in the TV show The Dr. Maria Santos, in All My Children, and detective Natalia Boa Vista in CSI Miami are notable. In fact, the role of the character Dr. Maria Santos on All My Children garnered her two Daytime Emmy nominations. This gave her an opportunity to showcase her music creativity. Eva is an entrepreneur, philanthropist and the philanthropist. She is a thrice-married woman and has a daughter with her second spouse.
