Coleman is Lancashire-born. Coleman was head of the class in the Arnold School, Blackpool and was awarded straight A's on her A levels. While discussing her Emmerdale appearance Coleman acknowledged regrets not going to University. Coleman when she was still at the high school system, was part of a theatrical company called In Yer Space. They performed the play Crystal Clear for the Edinburgh Festival. Along with being awarded a prize for acting, the play that she performed was well-received. Coleman got the part as Jasmine Thomas while she was in auditions at the drama schools. This happened in 2005. In 2007 Coleman was nominated for two awards. In 2007, the British Soap Awards nominated her for the title of best newcomer. The National Television Awards, she was nominated as the most popular newcomer. In 2009, at the British Soap Awards she was recognized in the Best Actress Sexiest Female and the Best Dramatic Performance category. Coleman was nominated for Best Actress at the TV Choice Awards. Steven Moffat of Doctor Who announced in a news meeting held on the 21st March 2012 that Coleman was to be replacing Karen Gillan after she and Arthur Darvill had left. Moffat selected her for the role because she is the most effective when working with Smith and spoke more quickly than him. Eva Larue..............................Eva LaRue is an American actor and model. Since 1987, she has worked in film and television projects. She has been much more visible on television than films. Of the many roles Eva has appeared in, on TV shows, Dr. Maria Santos in All My Children and the detective Natalia Boa Vista' in CSI Miami are the two which make an impression. She was nominated for 2 "Daytime Emmys" for her first part in both shows, as well as getting the opportunity to express her musical creativity. Eva is, along with acting, is an entrepreneur, philanthropist and business owner. Eva is married to three men and has an infant from the third.
