Coleman was a Lancashire resident born in the town of Blackpool. She was a headgirl of Arnold School, Blackpool and was awarded straight A's on her A levels. If Coleman was asked about her role in Emmerdale she replied that she regrets not to have had an experience like the traditional one at university. When she was at school, Coleman was a part of the theatre group In Yer Space with whom she was a part of the Edinburgh Festival in the play Crystal Clear. Along with being awarded a prize for acting skills, the show that she performed was well-received. When she was auditioning for drama schools, Coleman landed the part as Jasmine Thomas in Emmerdale in 2005. Coleman was awarded two awards in the year 2007. Coleman won two nominations in 2007: Best Newcomer for the British Soap Awards; and most Popular Newcomer at the National Television Awards. The British Soap Awards 2009 nominated her in both category of Best Actress - Sexiest Feminine and the category for Best Dramatic Performance. Coleman received a nomination for Best Actress from the TV Choice Awards. On the 21st March, 2012 Doctor Who producer Steven Moffat announced at a press event that Coleman will play the Doctor's companion alongside Matt Smith after Karen Gillan and Arthur Darvill have left the show. Moffat selected her for the role because she is the most effective with Smith and spoke more quickly than him. Eva Larue..............................Eva LaRue is an American actor and model. She has been active in the film industry since 1987. However she has been more well-known on television as opposed to films. Eva was in a number of roles on television, but two stand out in particular: The role of Dr. Maria Santos' role in All My Children as well as the character of Detective Natalia Boavistas which was in CSI Miami. Her first TV role earned 2 Daytime Emmy nominations, and helped her develop the love of music in her. Eva is also an entrepreneur, philanthropist and an philanthropist. Three times married, she has a daughter and a second husband.
