In the same year, she released the album she titled Know It All, the song Scars to Your Beautiful ranked on the Billboard Hot 100 as well as the Canadian Albums Chart Billboard 200. Therapy helped her grow and she encourages others to seek out help when needed. Alessia Cara is a Canadian performer who was born on July 11, 1996, to parents of Italian origin. When she was just 10 years old her parents gave her a guitar, which was the beginning of her passion for music. In the age of thirteen, she began singing songs she loved on YouTube in order to show her fans that she had talent and had the courage to make a profession of a musician. Indeed the cover song Sweater Weather was the one that got her noticed by EP Entertainment. They allowed her to write and record her own tracks.
