Alison Krauss
Alison Krauss was born July 23, 1971, in Decatur, Illinois. LeAnn Kymes and Krauss, were among the earliest Grammy Award-winners. Alison Maria Krauss was born in the month of July 1971. Alison is a bluegrass and country singer. Alison Maria Krauss began her music career at a young age, winning local competitions at the age of 10. Her first recording was her first time at age 14. She signed to Rounder Records in 1985 and recorded her first single album, a solo one in the year 1987. The band invited her to join the group with which she still performs Alison Krauss and Union Station and later released her first album as a band in 1989.
